According to the speedometer, full throttle means 220 km / h; according to the tour counter 8700 / min. Tour counter ?? read that right. In fact, the monsters now give us an insight into their shooting. The fact that we were still able to experience that is almost as astonishing as the wondrous ergonomic change: You hardly see the changes, but you sit ten times better. Not so deep in there and still closer. The hollow in the saddle is gone, the knee joint there ?? and everything feels more precise. Also the front brake. Another legacy of the 748, including an aluminum adapter, steel braided hose and a radial pump.
M.onster Spezial, as the name suggests, a special case. It costs 2000 marks more than the basic version, but shows off important, fully adjustable spring elements. In the back Ohlins and good. Up front Showa and not that bad. However, quite stubborn when it is supposed to absorb hard bumps. But it doesn’t matter because this monster is also the smartest that ever existed.
