Presentation of the Ducati Panigale 1299 S Anniversario

Limited special model for the anniversary

Ducati presented a new special model at the World Ducati Week 2016. The Ducati Panigale 1299 S Anniversario is limited to 500 copies and will be available from the end of July for just under 30,000 euros.

For all those who D.ucati 1299 Panigale S is not exclusive enough, Ducati has added a special treat to its range: the Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario. The special model presented at World Ducati Week 2016 to celebrate the 90th company anniversary of Casey Stoner and Ducati President Claudio Domenicali is limited to 500 pieces.

Compared to the production model, the “Anniversario” is 2.5 kilograms lighter due to a lithium battery and some carbon parts. The traction and wheelie controls have also been revised. The serial number of each of the 500 copies is lasered into the fork bridge of the bike. The steering head of the Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario can be tilted forward by five millimeters, resulting in the same chassis geometry as the Ducati Panigale R..

Buyers of the special model will also receive a racing kit consisting of an Akrapovic titanium exhaust, covers for mirror and license plate mountings and a battery charger. The Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario will be available from the end of July 2016 and cost 29,590 euros (plus delivery costs).
