Electric scooter Horwin EK3
Alternative for commuters from 4,290 euros
The Horwin EK3 electric scooter will be on the market at the end of July 2020, can reach speeds of up to 95 km / h and the first 500 pieces should be available at the introductory price of 4,290 euros.
The Horwin EK3 fits into the vehicle class L3e, so it is a light motorcycle and can be equated with the 125cc combustion engine. The electric scooter could therefore also be of interest to commuters who were previously only traveling by car and are now switching to a motorized two-wheeler. Because thanks to the new driving license regulation, drivers can, under certain conditions, drive 125cc motorcycles without a motorcycle license and without a test.
The Horwin EK3 electric scooter is scheduled to hit the German market at the end of July 2020. A top speed of up to 95 km / h is possible. And at an average speed of 45 km / h, the range should be up to 100 kilometers. Even the basic version is fully equipped with LED lights, comes with cruise control, helmet storage compartment under the seat and a battery. A second battery (72V / 40 Ah) is available for an extra charge of 1,490 euros, which doubles the range to up to 200 kilometers. The Horwin EK3 electric scooter is available in white, red, matt gray and matt black. The introductory price for the first 500 Horwin EK3 is 4,290 euros, after that it will cost 4,490 euros.
The higher equipment variant Horwin EK3 Deluxe costs 4,690 euros from the start. Then the electric scooter drives up with a brown leather seat bench, floor mats, chrome-plated rear-view mirrors and metallic paintwork in gray or dark blue.
Horwin EK3 with Keyless-Go-System
Thanks to the keyless go system of the Horwin EK3, the e-scooter can be operated in a similar way to a smartphone: if you have the vehicle key with you, all you have to do is swipe your finger over the cockpit display and the EK3 will switch to standby. Mode and is ready to start.
