New 300 single-cylinder athlete

FK Motors is expanding its range of products. From May 2020, the plan is to plow the German market with a sports motorcycle in the 300 class.

A.Apart from a Facebook post and two drawings, there is hardly any information about the new top model. The 300 series is to be seen for the first time in Germany at the motorcycle days in Hamburg in February 2020.

The FK Motors FK 3 GP is driven by a 300 cm³, liquid-cooled single cylinder with fourvalve technology, which should bring it to 27 HP. The 17-inch wheels are guided by a USD fork at the front, a single-sided or double-sided swing arm (depending on which teaser images you believe) with a banana profile is used at the rear. At the front, a single disc with a radially hinged saddle decelerates, while another disc in combination with ABS supports the rear.

The frame seems to be based on a tubular tubular steel structure. Full cladding with LED headlights and a stepped, two-part bench ensure the sporty look. The target sales price is around 4,000 euros.

Behind the FKM brand is the Chinese motorcycle giant Fekon Motorcycle with a production capacity of up to 500,000 motorcycles per year as well as partners from Germany and Singapore. So far, FKM has only operated three models in the 125cc segment in this country.
