At Harley we love commemorations. Especially when they allow the firm to flaunt its long history while highlighting certain models in the range. Every five years, the MoCo therefore offers us a special “XXXth anniversary” series..
2018 is no exception to the rule since the Milwaukee firm blows its 115 candles by offering 9 limited edition models, including this 1200 Forty-eight.

This Sportster led by the tonic twin 1200 already bore in its genes and in its name a tribute to the famous 7.95 liter ‘peanut’ tank, created in 1948. Double tribute therefore for this special 115th anniversary edition which carries some additional flourishes..

Starting with the color ‘Legend Blue Denim’ which covers the tank and is accompanied by an XXL graphic on the right side representing a huge eagle carrying the legendary Bar & Shield logo. Blue being undoubtedly the color chosen by the manufacturer for this commemoration, the saddle is fitted with azure-colored stitching and is adorned with an HDMC logo. A black badge surrounded by a blue ring takes place on the crankshaft cover on the right side of the engine.

To offer you this special series, you will have to pay 1,000 more than the basic version (13,590 € instead of 12,590 €). This sum also gives you the opportunity to run on a model produced in 2,400 copies only. To emphasize the exclusivity of your motorcycle, the serial number will be written at the end of the tank.
