The Low Rider is back. He had told us he would come back. 5 years of absence to recharge your batteries, to be desired, and to find room in its frame to fit a few cm3 of lard and hard steel between the cylinder heads and the connecting rods. First on the engine side. The Low Rider snorts to the rhythm of the 103 ci, aka big twin of 1690 cm3. Not even 80 horses and a 12.8 mkg potato to shake your gums. This numbers ? Not that important! What engages us is his face, the surly spirit, and all the authentic 70s flowing in the hoses of the Low Rider. A whole personality, full of character and a profile in the deepest Harley spirit.
The Rushmore project has left its mark on the ergonomics of the new Low Rider 103 ci. Its seat, very low, does not exceed 680 mm in height. The footrests have moved forward 51mm, and the riding position can be adjusted. The saddle, with two positions, is wedged in length to more or less 38 mm. The handlebars can also be adjusted, to 60 mm; with the right set of tools.
With an orchestra skillfully worked in black, chrome and timeless look, this Dyna smacks of escape and trepidation. Custom tempting, it is equipped with a 49 mm fork, a center console with two beautiful dials, 3 brake discs with 4 piston calipers at the front and double pistons at the rear monitored by the ABS. series, a 2-in-1 full chrome exhaust, the Smart Security System, a 6-speed Cruise Drive gearbox, chrome spoked rims and 302 kilos of America in the hips. Only regret: even if it means celebrating his return, why not have offered him the very last 103 High Output ?!?
