With its large v-twin exceeding the liter of displacement, the 1100 Shadow does not hesitate to deliver excessive torque. Made in the states, this big Japanese custom plays on Harley land but with its own techniques. Its style is similar to that of the Milwaukee Dynas but on the technical side, the Rican and Japanese twins are very far from alike.. The 45 ° open Honda twin has 3 valves per cylinder, liquid cooling, and a few fins for styling. Its 50 hp are not there to chase the clock; what interests us is the torque, which reaches a maximum of 9 mkg at just 2500 rpm.
Pretty but serious, less rock than an HD, the Shadow C2 can however count on a much more affordable price. For lovers of a vintage style, the 1100 Shadow is also available in a C3 version, straight out of the 1930s.
