Husqvarna Vitpilen 701 Aero Concept at EICMA

Half-shell for the single cylinder

In 2016, Husqvarna had already presented the 401 as a study with a half-shell. The Aero Concept for the Vitpilen 701 will follow in 2018. Here, too, the focus is on half-shell cladding.

The Vitpilen 701 is a sporty naked bike with a high design standard. For drivers who love it even more sportily, Husqvarna has now presented the Vitpilen 701 Aero study at EICMA.

Lots of aero attachments

The Vitpilen 701 becomes an Aero with numerous aerodynamically shaped attachments. These include a fresh front fender, a half-shell fairing without headlights as well as side radiator fairings, additional side fairings and a streamlined one-man seat with a rump. In the cockpit there is a newly drawn TFT color display that is round. The blue and white coloring takes up the Husqvarna colors.

The single-cylinder engine of the Vitpilen 701 obviously remained untouched. The 693 cm³ single should deliver 75 hp and 72 Nm.

Overall, the study should show where Husqvarna’s path could still lead.
