Benelli TnT R 160 in the test
The Benelli TnT R 160 – an expression of strength
She is a rock tube turned motorcycle. What else can the Benelli do besides singing?
If TnT r 160 had become a singer, she would be called Pink today. Sometimes hissing, sometimes growling, sometimes snotty and sometimes downright outrageous it blows B.enelli out their hoarse-erotic three-cylinder sound. In addition, there is the fine rattling of the dry clutch, the anti-hopping effect of which has little effect on country roads. Due to the powerful and easily controllable brakes, the fork sometimes dips heavily, the shock absorber is therefore rather tight. With a lot of feedback and stability, the chassis supports brisk bellows on curvy asphalt, the main area of application of the Italo streetfighter.
The standard TnT seems a bit more energetic downstairs, but at the latest in the upper half of the speed range the triple is as if unleashed. He scrapes and snorts, rages his way upwards with a trailer at 6000 / min, delights with primitive violence and whole-body goose bumps. However, the Benelli cannot be tamed without physical effort; if you just want to be a driver, look for something else. The TnT requires a commander who can control the clutch with a firm grip and the hard load changes with a sensitive throttle hand. Then driving becomes an unforgettable experience, just like being in the front row at a rock concert. Those who like it can rock every day with the TnT R 160. And all alone.

Conclusion
With the Benelli TnT R 160 you can rock every day.
In the city:
The clutch is good for serious strength training, the small steering angle for exercise "Turns in 20 moves". Constant jerks and the hard load change jolt when applying the gas are also annoying in the city. At least the overview and seating position are okay, and the show is always successful.
On the country road:
Give spurs! The stable chassis masters even impetuous rides with flying colors, and the famous deceleration system with stylish wave brake discs works at the highest level. The Benelli drive itself is a stunner, just the drop in torque at 6000 tours spoils the overall impression.
On the highway:
Send such a hot streetfighter bike on the track? You’re welcome. Complaints about hurricane wind storms cannot be taken seriously. The fiery engine with a ludicrous top speed for a naked bike is very impressive.
Diploma
Category engine:
Despite sagging at medium speed, the powerful triple impresses with impressive driving performance and an enormous sound repertoire.
4 out of 5 stars
Category chassis:
On the whole, the TnT is handy and stable. A little more penetration reserve at the front, a little more comfort at the back.
3 out of 5 stars
Brakes category:
Famous pearly whites adorn the Benelli: stable, powerfully gripping and finely dosed, they deserve top marks. Only ABS would be better.
4 out of 5 stars
Category Equipment:
The workmanship and materials are impressive: lots of carbon parts, stainless steel exhaust system, tubular rocker arm with eccentric on the rear wheel axle.
3 out of 5 stars
Category comfort:
When the pressure level is fully open, the hindquarters work comfortably. The sitting position is relaxed, the clutch actuation the exact opposite.
2 out of 5 stars
Category suitability for beginners:
Of course, the TnT R 160 looks ultra sharp and also sounds like it. Their powerful engine and sharp brakes are not for greenhorns.
