Italjet Caffeina (2019)
Retro V2 with 250 cm³
The Italian manufacturer Italjet is now entering the motorcycle business with the new Caffeina. The naked bike has a retro look and a small V2 engine.

250 with almost 18 hp
Like many competitors, Italjet Caffeina relies on a vintage look paired with modern technology. The heart of the Caffeina is an air-cooled four-stroke V2 with 250 cm³ displacement and a five-speed gearbox. 17.7PS and 19 Nm torque are mentioned as power. This means that the dry Caffeina, which weighs just under 129 kilograms, is said to be capable of speeds of up to 120 km / h.

The new Caffeina will cost around 5,200 euros.
The backbone of the Caffeina is a tubular steel frame. The box swing arm with upper pull, which is supported by a central spring strut, is made of steel. An upside-down fork leads up front. The front tires of the Caffeina are fitted with 17-inch wire-spoke rims, which are fitted with 110/80 tires. At the back there is a 15-inch rim with a 130/90 tire. Alternatively, a 17-inch wheel with a 130/70 tire is also available. The braking system equipped with ABS uses wave discs. A 280 mm disc retards at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear.
Vintage look with real leather applications
The stainless steel exhaust ends in a short megaphone on the right. The further scrambler optics determine the start number plates on the side of the tank, tightly cut sheet metal mudguards, a cafe racer seat, a black round headlight, a wide tubular handlebar and a raised tank cap. A round instrument positioned on the front of the tank serves as the information center. The Italjet Caffeina will be available from summer 2019 at prices from 5,200 euros.
