In the tradition of super-missiles, the ZZR 1400 still proudly defends its territory (shaken by an overpowered Hayabusa), more intimidating than ever with its technical repertoire, its disturbing gaze and its new attributes which give it this new qualifying adjective of Performance Edition.. Just enough to illustrate the slogan of a radio station from the 90s: “You can still push the volume button to the maximum”.
More style, more sound, more performance. The ZZR is here fitted with an Akrapovic silencer instead of the two original big shrouds. This appendage gives a sportier look, should free the bike from a good series of kilos (estimated at 6.5), and allows the 4-cylinder 200 hp to breathe with more joy – half a dozen nags in more would be in the stable. The line of the rear is also refined by the fitting of a seat cowl. As for the cockpit, an aerodynamic bubble with optimized aerodynamics covers the fork crown, further improving rider protection. A set of tank protection stickers completes the range. The price ? Ah…. uh…. Well, you have to plan for a little inflation.
