The ZZR 600 played the role of sportswoman in the Kawa range before the ZX-6R landed. More imposing, less exclusive, more “bourgeois”, it found itself positioned in the sport-GT category, a role which suits it particularly well.. Twin of the 1100 in philosophy and design, it obviously does not have the breath of its predecessor but its engine enjoys a fiery temperament much more playful. If the mechanics pull gently in the first half of the tachometer, it only expresses itself, and furiously, high in the revs, rewarding the machine with performances and amazing picks up. The chassis is performing well, although it cannot compete with the latest trackers on the market. In return, it offers much more user-friendly comfort. The suspensions spare the lumbar, the well-designed position and the very honest protection allow tourism with serenity. Braking is badged Kawa: powerful, biting and enduring. The finish and the equipment are also remarkable. Against the tide of increasingly radical sportswomen, the ZZR offers versatility and sporting skills skillfully combined.
