Despite being Akashi’s youngest of customs, the VN900 can’t help but want to play the road like its big brother. His twin may have half the displacement, yet he decided to go on an expedition too. The big 1700 Light Tourer has chosen a cruising line: travel light; the 900 wants to do the same. By equipping the right pack, here it is transformed into a VN 900 Light Tourer Deluxe. In the game of mimicry, this mid-size custom defends itself well. Its equipment is even slightly richer than that of the big VN 1700, because it includes a sissy-bar and an additional fire set. Almost looks like a mini-road king. A large windshield and two leather suitcases of 15 liters each are together to go on a trip.

The VN 900 Light Tourer Deluxe passes the 10,000 euros mark, but its price is almost 5,000 euros lower than that of the VN 1700, the latter flying over the same philosophy of light travel. When it comes to the engine, the difference is huge: 20 horsepower and above all 5.3 mkg more to the advantage of the large VN.
