Kawasaki 125 D-TRACKER 2011

Menus

With this new D-Tracker, Kawa returns to the 125 niche. However, the approach of the greens is in the sense of fun and sport; not on the carrier current of the simple and practical 125, illustrated by the CBF 125. Kawasaki returns with a young supermotard, with a neat look and a ready-made inspiration: a pure variation of the D-TRacker 250 which already exists in Japan.

An authentic device for delirium and offense? In the spirit, surely, and it must be recognized that Kawasaki’s approach is not without daring. The market for the SM 125 is not the easiest. An essential element in the driving of a supermot, the sensations will be dictated in part by the mill of the D-Tracker. Perhaps a young and modern mill, like the one Yam installed in his WR 125 X, would it have been more appropriate?!? Because Kawa has apparently chosen an air-cooled mill equipped with injection. Not installing a riot of technology allows you to limit costs, offer a great price (often the key factor), and thus focus on other areas of work. The D-Tracker is announced compact, particularly light and manoeuvrable, and thus promises to be a frankly nice machine for beginners. With 10 hp out of the box, the mono won’t help you uproot the road but it should do its job. Oh, of course, it won’t have the ardor of the old KMX with their 2-stroke monos (very greedy and quite polluting too) – but we are talking about another era ….
