4 years after its appearance, the VN 2000 has changed somewhat, fortunately for us by retaining its exceptional added value: its twin. Now renamed VN 2000 Classic, the big custom still holds the record for the largest production twin in the world with its 2053 cc displacement. This Classic name is mainly due to the replacement of its optical unit. The hooded lighthouse encrusted with menacing eyes gives way to a very classic shell lighthouse, giving it a much more conventional feel. Other modifications are in the pipeline, such as the new “buckhorn” handlebars in cow horns, for an even more relaxed ride, the thicker and reshaped rear seat to improve passenger comfort, the engraved emblem on the right cover of the airbox, the new original speedometer dial, and the switch placed on top of the gas tank. Superb and imposing, the big twin is now Euro 3 compliant but has suffered somewhat in history: with 94 horsepower and 16.9 mkg, the moulbif has lost 9 cannons and more than 1 mkg in history. There is still plenty of it left under the right hand to have fun.
