Very nice neo-retro machine, the W 800 is also available in a Special Edition livery.
Wait, slow down, we’re not getting carried away. No special equipment, inverted forks or racing parts, just a new color. But this one sits particularly well on the offspring of the W1 and W 650. A deep black coat that extends to the engine to become matt on the exhausts. Only the chrome parts and the rims escape the dark mantle. The spoked wheels here are beautifully gilded. Some details end up charming, such as the gold-colored edging running on the tank, the badge adorned with two lions on the tank, the bevel gear distribution well highlighted, the polished fins of the cylinder head…
This color is exchanged for 300 euros more than the standard W 800 in green and gray. Then, more than a bucolic stroll to the playful rhythm of the 48 horses of the parallel twin. Neither sport, nor brutality, nor anguish, just charm and banana to end with a little show off.
