85 are allowed to feel like a Dakar driver
The motorcycle manufacturer KTM is again issuing a Dakar replica of the 450 rally machine for the 2021 model year. Only 85 copies will be built.
For 85 committed enduro riders who would like to take part in a desert rally themselves KTM is again offering a 450 Rally Replica for the 2021 model year.
Fine-tuning of the circuit and spring elements
Compared to the model first offered in 2018, the gearbox and shift mechanism have been upgraded. This should further increase reliability and, with a longer overall ratio, also driving comfort. The gear ratios now correspond to those of the factory machines by Toby Price, Matthias Walkner and Sam Sunderland. Further innovations include the WP XACT PRO spring elements with closed cartridge and cone valve technology as well as optimized aerodynamics.

The new 450 Rally Replica moves even closer to the factory machines.
The almost ready-to-race KTM 450 Rally Replica will go on sale from September 2020. For a limited number of drivers of KTM rally models, a service and support package can also be booked for a surcharge at the Dakar Rally. Prices for the motorcycle and the service package have not yet been announced. The previous version cost 26,000 euros plus tax.
