KTM 690 Enduro R at EICMA
Roadworthy enduro
Like the Supermoto, the KTM 690 Enduro R also gets the latest generation of the LC4 engine, which with its 74 hp is said to be the most powerful single-cylinder in series production.
74 PS and 73.5 Nm maximum torque at 6,500 rpm – the current 690 single-cylinder now comes in the new generation after the facelifted 690 Duke KTM 690 Enduro R is used. KTM is also donating a new seat, which, together with the revised trim, should provide more freedom of movement.
Suspension of the EXC models
Also new is the chassis with the WP XPLOR suspension, which the new 690 Enduro R clutches from the parts shelf of the EXC models. It should ensure trust and easy handling on harmless dirt roads as well as in extreme off-road passages. And the roadworthiness of the KTM 690 Enduro R should also be guaranteed thanks to the new chassis – whoever carts the Enduro R to the area of use on a trailer should not be able to push it onto the bike itself, according to the manufacturer.
Like the SMC R, the KTM 690 Enduro R comes with two riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, engine drag torque control and quickshifter.
The base price for the new KTM 690 SMC R is 10,799 euros.
