Electric scooter Kumpan 54i from 3,999 euros
New model family starts in 2020
Kumpan scooters are developed and manufactured in Germany. The Kumpan 54 inspire for the moped class is the first electric scooter in the new model family, with more powerfully motorized versions to follow.
I.In March, the production hall of the Remagen electric scooter manufacturer burned down, followed by the corona crisis. Now the German electric scooter brand is hoping to be able to get started again with a new model family. "54i" is the name of the series that begins with the market launch of the 45 km / h model. "54i" is according to Kumpan the further development of the Kumpan electric 1954 Ri, which in turn is the model "1954" replaced in 2018.
Faster models are to follow in the third quarter
The models in the new 54i series are inspire, iconic, impulse and ignite. Kumpan starts with inspire and iconic – both electric scooters fall into the category moped class (L1e) and can also be driven by drivers with a class B driving license. Both models can already be ordered. The Kumpan 54 inspires has a top speed of 45 km / h, has an output of up to 3 kW and can travel around 62 kilometers. He rolls across the streets with a battery, the one at Kumpan’s "the powerhouse" is called. The scooter is available from € 3,999. The Kumpan 54 iconic costs from 4,999 euros and has an output of up to four kW and a range of 186 kilometers. As a result, it is equipped with three power packs, i.e. batteries.
The faster electric scooters should roll onto the German market in the third quarter: the Kumpan 54 impulse should be up to 70 km / h, the Kumpan 54 ignite should reach a top speed of 100 km / h. Both could start with around 7 kW engines and thus belong to the class of L3e-A1 vehicles. Like the 125s, they require a license and drivers need a driving license of class A1, A2 or unlimited – alternatively, the driver’s license and the corresponding certificate and the entry with the code number 196 are sufficient. The new electric scooters of the 54i series come with 12-inch tires, lower seat, LED indicators and optionally with an LED headlight. With the predecessor, the "1954 Ri", The new Kumpan scooters also have some things in common: 7-inch touch display, three driving modes (Comfort, Eco, Rain) and storage space for three batteries and luggage.
