The 125cc Vespa belonged to Elliott Kastner, but Marlon Brandon must have been on the road with it quite often.

Expected to sell for £ 2,000 to £ 3,000

Marlon Brando rode this Vespa regularly. She never got a film role and it belonged to a film producer. The expected selling price is £ 2,000 to £ 3,000.

E.lliott Kastner is the name of the film producer who owned this white Vespa. As usual, the film titles are better known than the producer, so here are a few works for which he is (partly) responsible: Where Eagles Dare (Agents die lonely), the film series “The Blob”, Missouri Breaks (duel on the Missouri) and Angel Heart. Much more important because it is more prominent: Marlon Brando regularly rode the Vespa when he was a guest at Elliott Kastner’s country house in Great Britain.

Marlon Brando illegally on a Vespa

Kastner bought the Vespa during a shoot in Rome and then shipped it to the UK. Because the vehicle was not registered in Great Britain, it still has the old “Roma” license plate. So “Mafioso godfather” Marlon Brando was illegally traveling with it. Before his Vespa excursion, he only asked Kastner whether the vehicle was serviced and ready for use.

The license plate indicates the only city where the Vespa was registered – Rome.

The scooter will be available on November 2, 2019 in the H&H Classics Limited is auctioned off at the National Motorcycle Museum and is in an unrestored condition and has not been moved for the past ten years. The frame number is VNL3T9222, the engine number is 950, the displacement is 125 cm³.

Anyone interested can bid online at handh.co.uk. Since the Vespa was not a Bond vehicle or a Batmobile, a five-digit sales price is not expected, but a sum of between £ 2,000 and £ 3,000.
