Compared to its predecessor, the big trail Guzzi has not only gained injection and cm3 but above all it has become more user-friendly. Its slight restyling brought it up to date while the seat was lowered by a few centimeters. Its 82 cm saddle height remains substantial but it is above all the weight that should encourage you to be careful. The handling is very correct, as is the comfort. In addition to its offbeat aesthetic, the main attraction of this big adventurer is its unique mechanics. Like any self-respecting Guzzi, his engine is a V2 whose cylinders come out from each side of the machine. Coupled at low revs, however, one should not expect breathtaking performance. The reach is limited, the inertia palpable and the box is not a model of speed. The gimbal will convince you to adopt a smooth ride, to the delight of your senses because a Guzzi likes to enchant you with the dull blows of its heart. And with a face like this you’re sure to get noticed.
