Honda Forza 300 Limited Edition (2020)

Special model with a new look

Honda has been offering the Forza 300 in a heavily revised form since 2018. In 2020, Honda will go one step further and bring the large scooter in an even finer one "Limited edition".

D.he Honda Forza originally saw the light of day in 2000. After almost 20 years and a lot of revised model variants, a revised version of the large scooter will roll out to dealers this year. Compared to the last thoroughly revised Forca 300 in 2018, Honda has given the Limited Edition a few more updates, mostly of a visual nature. Technically everything remains the same with the new special model. New here are a fresh paint job called "Air Force Gray", a leather seat with red stitching, rim stickers that match the new paintwork and a smart box that also matches the color. Honda also decided to give the Limited Edition its own new logo to differentiate itself from the base model.

Equipment still at a high level

The Honda Forza 300 Limited Edition is still powered by the liquid-cooled SOHC engine with 279 cm³ and 25 hp, with which speeds of up to 129 km / h should be possible. A 33 mm telescopic fork, stereo shock absorbers with a seven-way adjustable spring preload, two-channel ABS and cast aluminum rims (front: 120 / 70-15, rear: 140 / 70-14) are still on board. With a full tank, the Honda scooter should weigh 182 kilograms.

The new special model largely differs optically from the standard Forza 300.

In the course of the major model revision in 2018, the Honda Forza 300 became significantly lighter, more compact and also a little sportier compared to the previous model. Honda also donated an electrically adjustable windshield, LED lighting elements, new instruments and the so-called HSTC traction control to the large scooter. A smart key system is also on board. The 45-liter Smart Box connected to the Smartkey system was previously only available as an option – with the Limited Edition it is part of the standard equipment. Finally, the question arises what the limited edition should cost. Honda has not yet provided any information on this. The basic version is currently available from 6,300 euros (RRP including transfer). The special model is likely to be a bit more expensive.

Conclusion

Commuters looking for a new vehicle for everyday use might be happy with the Honda Forza 300 Limited Edition. The Smart Box in particular, which is also optionally available for the basic model, represents real added value compared to the same.
