Model presentation: Honda
Very carefully
At INTERMOT, Honda contented itself with new models that had already been shown in MOTORRAD. But the fair in Milan is still coming, right??
Crossrunner and VS.BR 300 R – it stays that way for the time being. So the bizarre NM4 Vultus deserves the lead on this page. Introduced in spring, it has been delivered since the end of September. Technically, the scooter with the look of a space fighter pilot is based on the drive of the NC 750. The double clutch transmission (DCT) is standard.
Model presentation: Honda
Very carefully
See Crossrunner. The large side panels of the previous model have been reduced; this makes the motorcycle appear more dynamic, lighter.
The price of the Crossrunner is still being discussed
In terms of technology, the Crossrunner follows the modifications of the VFR 800 F; it receives the more powerful V4 engine with 106 hp and a newly tuned VTEC. ABS and traction control are also on board. Up to the time of going to press, Honda was still discussing the price of the new machine internally.
The CBR 300 R, the second novelty from Honda, is already further there. Because it has long been sold in other markets and has already been calculated, the price is fixed: 4 795 euros plus additional costs.
So far, so good – maybe a little unspectacular. Immediately after the model presentation in Cologne, the rumor mill began to simmer. Is the successor to the Africa Twin in Milan? Or the MotoGP replica RC-something? Or even both? The Honda spokesman remained silent about this. What MOTORRAD leads to speculate: Both will be shown in Milan.
