Motorcycle manufacturers mobilize for Japan
The French subsidiaries of the four Japanese motorcycle manufacturers (Honda France, Kawasaki Motors France, Suzuki France and Yamaha Motor France) are launching a common front to come to the aid of the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, while BMW pays a million euros.

"The French distributors of the four Japanese brands were keen to give their support to the Japanese population through the realization of a press advertisement", indicates Suzuki France which invites the French bikers "to make a donation to the Red Cross".

At the same time, the head offices of the four subsidiaries announce that they have donated aid to the Japanese Red Cross or other organizations.
For its part, the BMW group, present in Japan for 30 years with 800 employees on site, announces the creation of a fund of one million euros "to help deal with this emergency situation". 500,000 euros will be donated to the "Save the Children" association and 500,000 euros will go to the Japanese Red Cross. "The funds are intended to support child victims of trauma, emergency interventions, as well as reconstruction work," says the German manufacturer.
