Four Sherco at the start of the Dakar 2012

Besides the Austrians, Japanese and other Italians, the Dakar 2012 has four French women in its ranks. And we are not talking about young ladies, but about motorcycles !

Four Sherco 450 cc will indeed take the start of this 2012 edition which will take place from January 1 to 15 across Argentina, Chile and Peru. The French team Croco Aventures has entered four drivers, including a professional (the Dutchman Frans Verhoeven who won a stage in 2011) and three amateurs (Sylvain Espinasse, Dominique Detang and Charles Schneider).

After three participations in the Dakar as a "semi-team" attached to the structure of another team, French Croco Aventures is approaching this new edition in complete autonomy..
