Loris Capirossi exempted from Japanese Grand Prix

"To end my career as well as possible"
As we indicated on Monday morning, the famous n ° 65, 17th in the general classification this year, indeed suffers from the right shoulder. He nevertheless hopes to be able to resume the handlebars for the last three races at Phillip Island (October 16), Sepang (October 23) and Valencia (November 6)..
"I wanted to race in Japan, it’s one of my favorite circuits where I had good results with a lot of pleasure", assures Loris Capirossi, "but the doctors were categorical". After a first consultation in Monaco where he was advised to undergo the operation immediately – "which meant a three-month absence and the end of my career", explains the pilot – Capirossi went to Imola to see the famous Dr Costa de the mobile clinic.
"He is used to seeing riders in these conditions, and I thought he might have other ideas," continues Capirex. "Unfortunately, he was also intractable and strongly advised me not to participate in the Japanese race".

"I saw the fall of Loris, it was spectacular and of course very dangerous", confirms Claudio Costa.
