MV Agusta presents the Rivale 800 and the new F4 2013
As often at the EICMA show in Milan, the Italian brand MV Agusta presents in a setting with immaculate walls its latest creations: the hypermotard Rivale 800 and the sporty F4 vintage 2013, available in three versions… Presentation.
MV Agusta F4 / R / RR
The Italian sports car is available for 2013 in three versions: “Standard”, R and RR. The F4 RR naturally embeds the best of the technology developed by the brand, with in particular electronically controlled Ohlins suspensions (manual or automatic adjustment depending on the driving mode chosen) and Brembo monobloc M50 calipers and MotoGP-style titanium connecting rods..
There are of course the MVCIS (Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System) and ELDOR systems combining the ride-by-wire accelerator, variable injection mapping (4 mappings including Standard, Sport and Rain modes acting directly on the engine torque , response to acceleration and engine braking), traction control adjustable in 8 positions with inertia sensors (3 gyroscopes and 3 accelerometers) taking into account the angle of the motorcycle, the anti-wheeling and the ‘EAS assisted clutch.
In short, the ultimate in current motorcycle technology, accessible if you have the means to afford it….
Like the F4RR, the F4 and F4R benefit from new colors and graphics, a redesigned and lightened 4-tailpipe exhaust system, new lighter forged rims and a redesigned front end now incorporating side marker lights. diodes, just like on the back.

The four-cylinder "short stroke" engine has significantly improved with a red zone raised to 14,000 rpm on the F4 RR (against 13,400 rpm on the others) and an update of its distribution. The intake and exhaust valves now use only one spring (compared to two previously), which allows for faster operating speed. The oil circuit is also redesigned to optimize lubrication and help reduce engine temperature.
The power of the F4 and F4R models reaches 195 hp, while that of the F4RR peaks at 200.8 hp … 50 mm injector bodies are used with a TTS variable intake system. The geometry and chassis made of Cr-Mo steel tubes and aluminum plates of the F4 do not change, as does its single-sided swingarm. Finally, the F4R differs from the standard F4 (Marzocchi 50mm fork) by its fully adjustable Ohlins fork..
