80 km / h: "The government is going strong!", Denounce the deputies
While the government, by publishing the decree on 80 km / h on Sunday, tries to sabotage the parliamentary debate scheduled for Thursday, MNC questioned the deputies at the origin of a bill aimed at returning power to elected officials in matter of speed. They are indignant at this "great contempt" and denounce a "passage in force" … Cross interview.
The government has in the Official Journal the decree establishing the July 1, 2018, exactly four days before the aiming to better adapt the text to the realities on the ground, scheduled for this Thursday, June 21 at the National Assembly…

Hmmm, four days or so it’s really nerd … nerd, really ?! Le Journal moto du Net questioned the deputies at the origin of this bill. Here are their first three responses, which denounce this "passage in force"…
"A great contempt for the legislator"
Site: How do you interpret the fact that the government published the decree in the OJ just before the parliamentary discussion scheduled for Thursday ?
Jerôme Nury, deputy (LR) for Orne (61) : The government is going strong. And shows great contempt for the legislator by pretending to ignore the bill we have tabled in the National Assembly which will be considered on Thursday. This proposal aims to restore local freedom and adaptation according to the road context.
Patrick Hetzel, deputy (LR) for Bas-Rhin (67) : The government wants to pass in force !
Xavier Breton, deputy (LR) for Ain (01) : The publication of the decree shows that the government persists in its passage in force on the 80 km / h…
"Being an MP is not being a yes-man"
MNC: What outcome do you see for the vote on the bill? In particular, do you think that the En Marche deputies will rather follow the position of the government, or rather that of the majority of their constituents in the constituency? ?
Jerome Nury : I think the majority will lock down the review process so that there is no debate, with a referral vote back to committee. Thus LREM will be exempt from a debate within their group, between the hard-hitting hardliners at the orders of the government and the independents more inclined to follow their voters…
Patrick Hetzel : LREM deputies will follow government instructions, as always. Alas, our proposal will be rejected by the government…
Xavier Breton : Regarding Thursday’s vote, I hope LREM MPs will show that their vote is free on issues like this. Being a member of Parliament is not about being a yes-man and being under the orders of the government !
