2020 Honda Goldwing: small changes and new colors
Among the new motorcycles that will be unveiled at the Eicma show in early November in Milan, the 2020 Goldwing must offer "improved suspensions and better agility at low speeds", assures Honda, which also offers the DCT dual-clutch gearbox on the base model and three new colors. Presentation.
The 2020 "evolves in terms of its fuel injection and DCT dual-clutch transmission to improve handling at low speeds," Honda said. The DCT gearbox, until now reserved for the Tour model, is now available in standard version while on the Tour, "the suspension settings have been modified and the passenger grab handles enlarged for more comfort".

On the DCT 2020 version, the dual-clutch transmission has been optimized to "improve low-speed behavior and reduce jerk" with shorter gears. But "whatever the pace, driving comfort and use is improved, especially when changing gears", assures the Japanese manufacturer who has also "reworked the PGM-FI injection fuel system", always to improve the behavior of the Goldwing at low speed.

The maximum power and torque are unchanged (126 hp at 5,500 rpm and 170 Nm at 4,500 rpm), as are the values of bore (73 mm), stroke (73 mm) and compression ratio (10.5 : 1). On the geometry side, the caster angle remains at 30.5 ° and the drag at 109 mm, with the same wheelbase of 1695 mm and the same weight in running order (365 kg for the standard version and 383 kg for the DCT / airbag tower).
The Tour 2020 version also comes with original fog lights. The passenger handles for the 2020 vintage are enlarged and the Honda flagship now offers two USB sockets instead of one. On the aesthetic side, a new color is available on the DCT version (metallic black) and two on the Tour version (white or metallic black with gray).
