Route and weather

The sun had been shining for nearly three weeks in Beaujolais, but on D-Day it was rain that awaits us on the magnificent rally route … A rather unfavorable weather for Julien Toniutti on his KTM 990 Superduke facing the very fast Corsican monos with high performance approved rain tires.

The route this year is fairly simple: start as usual at Blace (69) in front of the church for a long loop of around one hundred kilometers to be done twice for the day stage. Two stages per loop: Col du Chêne (1.7 km) and Col de Saint-Bonnet (4.5 km). The night stage consists of a "prologue" of approximately 25 km taking only the Col de Saint-Bonnet special followed by a single passage on the large loop with this time the two specials.
