Rossi performs at home on his Yamaha MotoGP !
Valentino Rossi, sixth in the 2019 MotoGP provisional ranking, fulfilled an old fantasy ahead of his national Grand Prix in San Marino: the Yamaha official paraded on the handlebars of his M1 in the streets of his native village of Tavullia, before joining the Misano circuit about ten kilometers under the vivas of its fans !
His all-consuming passion for motorcycle racing and the unconditional support of his fans are at the origin of the admirable longevity of Valentino Rossi, who has retained his motivation intact despite his inability to return to victory since the 2017 Dutch GP. on his Yamaha in decline.

The genius of the Alpine pastures was able to fill up with positive energy from a crowd dedicated to his cause ahead of the 2019 San Marino Grand Prix: the Doctor spent his Tuesday afternoon parading in front of his family on his YZR -M1, between his native village of Tavullia and the Misano circuit next door !
This exceptional event began in his MotorRanch – -, where the n ° 46 awakened the 4-cylinder of approximately 275 hp under the inevitably interested gaze of his father Graziano, former Grand Prix driver. Then he covered at reduced speed the few kilometers between his training center and Tavullia, where he was welcomed as a real hero. !
"It’s like a dream come true," Rossi confesses. “Younger on our scooters, we only dreamed of one thing: strolling through these streets on the handlebars of a MotoGP! It’s a fantastic moment, rich in emotion. It was really nice to be able to ride this M1 in Tavullia. And then a lot of people had responded. I hope they enjoyed it as much as I did ".

Visibly delighted and moved, Valentino Rossi then got back on his prototype – shod in road tires – to reach the Misano track via the ultra modern premises of the head office of his company VR46, which manages, among other things, the business of its derivatives. and those of several pilots.

The Italian was flanked by an armada of fans during this entire journey of ten kilometers on the narrow, hilly and bumpy roads that serve his village: MNC drove there with the Aprilia Tuono V4 and can assure his readers that it far from being as fast as the 19 circuits in the 2019 MotoGP lineup !
But it does not matter for the idol of the Grands Prix, fully recharged by all the fervor felt during this exceptional event which ended with an exhibition tour and a wheelie on this circuit where it all began….
"This is my Grand Prix, I live only 10 km away: I grew up here, I rode for the very first time on this track", he explains before warning: "I know that there will be a lot of yellow caps in the stands this weekend, so I’m going to give my all for them ".
