Look great. Openly styled off-road, the V85 TT is inspired by the NTX 750 and Quota 1000 with the hints of African rallying … Models that have not, however, left lasting memories! The novelty gives itself more means to succeed, starting with its delicious lines.

Comfort. Compact, the V85 TT allows good freedom of movement. The passenger is not forgotten with a flat saddle and tubes to hold onto. The protection provided by a smoke screen is limited. A higher element, perfectly protecting the helmet, is available as an accessory.

Accessible. The 830mm saddle allows riders around 1.75m to put both feet on the ground to master low-speed maneuvers. Too bad it cannot be adjusted in several positions … The 229 kg in running order remain acceptable for the category.

Cardan, signor ! The V85 TT is the only “medium” displacement trail runner to use the final drive shaft and universal joints, more practical and less messy than a chain. In action, this gimbal generates little "lift" effect during acceleration and gas cuts..

Engine. As on all Guzzi Motorcycles, the transverse V-Twin is open at 90 °. It is air-oil cooled and its distribution passes through rods / rocker arms and two valves per cylinder. The intake ones are titanium, please! With a crankshaft "30%" lighter than the V9s, this 853 cc (84 x 77 mm) block is the most modern of the range.

Motor bis. With a ratio of nearly 100 hp / liter, this engine develops 80 hp. Its 80 Nm of torque are available at 5,000 rpm. "90%" of this torque would be present from 3,750 rpm, a speed where the motorcycle effectively sets off with vigor.

The twin can reach 8000 rpm, but its red zone is fixed – as a precaution? – at 6,900 rpm. Semi-dry sump lubrication system uses two oil pumps, but no radiator.

The background and the color of the characters adapt to the brightness. The speed, rpm, mileage, gear engaged, air temperature, fuel level, average and instantaneous consumption and remaining range are clearly indicated..

A USB port is integrated on the left of the dashboard, while a pre-cabling for a second USB port is provided under the seat. As an option, Moto Guzzi offers a multi-media platform that allows you to connect a smartphone.
