Jonathan Rea and Ten Kate aim for WSBK 2011 title

Jonathan Rea will remain well next year at Honda Ten Kate: the strong man of the end of the 2010 season will try to win his very first title next year at the controls of his CBR1000RR … before embarking on the adventure MotoGP with Honda ?

What a pity that Johnny Rea experienced a sudden drop in form at the beginning of the summer, because he could have largely run for the 2010 title in the company of Biaggi and Haslam … He has also been showing himself recently. better than its rivals with six podiums – including two victories – in six races !

The n ° 65 is therefore a sacred number … but which has never been crowned champion! Vice British Superbike champion in 2007, vice champion of World Supersport the following year – already at Ten Kate -, the young Irish rider finished 5th in the World Superbike Championship last year and currently occupies a good third place with 288 points.

But of course, these excellent results are not enough to satisfy him: "I’m still only 23, but I’ve learned a lot about racing within this team, on and off the track, and have become a consistent contender for victory. To become champion, I recognize that I need more consistency and this is what I now have", carefully analyzes Jonathan.

Currently at its best – and above all better than its rivals! -, Rea is therefore delighted to continue racing with Ten Kate in the World Superbike next year and intends to afford his first crown, before taking over the big leagues with a Honda !
