Mutt Mastiff 125
Retro bike from Great Britain
The British motorcycle manufacturer Mutt Motorcycles has added a new entry-level bike with a retro look to its range: the Mutt Mastiff 125.
M.utt Motorcycles are unlikely to be known to many motorcycle enthusiasts, at least in this country. It’s a shame, because the models from the British manufacturer know how to please, at least visually. With the Mutt Mastiff 125, a brand new entry-level model with a chic retro look was recently presented.
Single cylinder engine delivers up to 12 hp
Technically speaking, the Mutt Mastiff 125 fits into the category of other motorcycles built in China, such as the Brixton or Mash models. In other words, the bikes are pretty to look at, but technically you are content with rather simple means. The 125 cc single-cylinder engine of the Mastiff 125 should produce up to 12 hp. The manufacturer specifies a top speed of almost 110 km / h. Dry, it should weigh 105 kilograms, with 17 liters fit in the tank.
Mutt motorcycles
The Mutt Mastiff 125 is visually impressive.
The paintwork is black and white. As is typical for scramblers, Mutt Motorcycles donated a grille-shaped headlight cover. The manufacturer specifies 780 mm for the seat height. Otherwise, there are 18-inch rims including studded tires and LED lighting.
Also available in Germany?
It is somewhat unclear whether the models from Mutt Motorcycles are also available in Germany. At least one contact in Germany is listed on the manufacturer’s website, to whom we also turned. Two years ago it seemed as if Mr. Mototeam would take over the import into this country. But nothing came of it. Accordingly, nothing is known about potential prices in Germany. In England, the Mastiff 125 is said to cost £ 3,495. Incidentally, Mutt Motorcycles also offers numerous other models that are quite similar to the Mastiff presented here. Most of the models only differ in the paintwork.
