Custom bike ex works

Content of

Triumph has introduced a brand new member of the Bonneville family. With the Triumph Bonneville Bobber, a series model with a custom bike look will be launched next year.

“Reduce to the Max” was the motto that the Triumph designers followed when developing the Triumph B.onneville Bobber have oriented. With the new model, the traditional manufacturer from Great Britain has created a motorcycle that should concentrate on the essentials. A newly developed frame including a single seat for the driver is reminiscent of the bobber style of the 50s for the newest member of the Bonneville family.

The 1200 cc two-cylinder engine of the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber comes from the Bonneville T 120 and has been slightly redesigned. Triumph promises improvements in torque and power over the Bonneville T 120 engine. So-called “slash-cut” end pots (i.e. those with a diagonally cut mouth) made of brushed stainless steel and a newly developed intake tract with a double airbox are intended to ensure a rich sound.

Other features of the new Bobber: The upholstered Solo seat shell is made of brushed aluminum. The central spring strut is hidden underneath. The rear fender, including the lighting unit, is mounted directly on the swing arm, so it also springs. The wheels combine chrome-plated wire spokes with black rims.

Assistance systems, accessory options and color palette

Triumph also gives the new Triumph Bonneville Bobber the two driving modes “road” and “rain”, ABS, a traction control that can be switched off and an immobilizer integrated into the key. In the event that the new Bobber is not individual enough to potential buyers, Triumph also offers a total of 150 accessories.

For example, the Bobber can be equipped with an even more Spartan or a more comfortable seat shell, with handlebar end mirrors and with an alternative handlebar. Also technical optimizations like adjustable shock absorber from Fox and exhaust systems from Vance & Hines are available from authorized dealers for the Triumph Bonneville Bobber.

The Triumph Bonneville Bobber will be available in four colors. You can choose from Jet Black, Ironstone (matt), Morello Red and Competition Green / Frozen Silver. Triumph has not yet given any information about the price and availability.
