Moto Guzzi celebrates V7 success with Scrambler
The spearhead of Moto Guzzi in 2015, the new V7 range provides the Mandello Del Lario brand with encouraging growth in France. A special ” Scrambler style ” series is even launched, to celebrate this success…. and to increase it ?
"In this first half of 2015, the V7s explode their sales scores!", Rejoice the French officials of Moto Guzzi (read our). "Indeed, at the heart of the neo-retro movement, the new V7 II have doubled their sales in France since the start of 2015 Vs 2014".
In the month of June alone, sales would have further jumped by "+ 114.6%", thus accumulating 88 registrations (against 41 in June 2014). If not impressive – Ducati delivered 230 Scrambler in June 2015 – this result is therefore encouraging.
The little Guzzis owe their progress mainly to their 2015 update which includes a new six-speed gearbox, ABS and traction control fitted as standard, and an unchanged engine but advanced and tilted to save the knees (read).
Site also notes that the valid from April 15 to June 30 on "MG Garage" accessories has surely helped some customers to sign the order form for their new V7 Stone, Special or Racer … Not to mention the discount of 1000 € on the previous generation !
To capture more customers, Moto Guzzi has just drawn from its catalog of accessories to create a special series with an evocative and terribly trendy name: the "Scrambler style" which is arriving in French dealerships these days..
Scrambler vs. Scramblers
Listed at € 9,499, this "other" Scrambler (read our) is inspired by "South Garage’s for Le Moto Guzzi Garage", receiving a high Arrow 2 in 1 exhaust system, studded tires, guard- satin aluminum mud and an "approved" plate holder, assure the Italians.
“So many accessories fitted as standard (customer benefit of € 1,055) that sublimate this V7 Stone with its resolutely offroad look, concludes Moto Guzzi. ?
