2.11 liters of fuel for 100 km

The Honda PCX 125 is homologated to the Euro4 emissions standard for the 2017 model year. The automatic start-stop system is retained, as are the LED light and the 12-volt on-board socket.

The Honda PCX 125 is aimed at pragmatists who are looking for a compact, economical city runabout and who enjoy a moderately futuristic, not overstyled design.

The automatic start-stop system contributes to the economy: it switches off the engine after three seconds of idling – for example at a red light – and starts it again when you turn the throttle. According to the manufacturer, this feature is good for fuel savings of up to 5 percent, but can also be easily switched off if necessary.

The Honda PCX 125 comes according to WMTC measurements ("Worldwide harmonized Motorcycle Test Cycle") with one liter of fuel up to 47.4 kilometers. This corresponds to a consumption of 2.11 liters / 100 km. The 8 liter tank is sufficient for well over 350 kilometers.

The Honda PCX 125 is also economical when it comes to power consumption: all elements of the lighting system are LED technology.

The folding seat of the Honda PCX 125 can of course be locked and is – by no means of course – held open by a damper element. There should be space for a full-face helmet in the storage compartment below. The driver can find additional storage space, for example for a drinks bottle or can, in the paneling on the inside left. The 12-volt on-board socket is also located there. B. can charge a smartphone.

The team consisting of front disc brakes and rear drum brakes is equipped with a simple combination brake (Single-CBS / Combined Braking System): the right brake lever acts on two of the three pistons in the front brake calliper, the left brake lever acts on the rear brake and the third piston in the front.

In the cockpit, the Honda PCX 125 shows the speed on a large analog speedometer. Trip and total kilometers, a clock, a fuel level indicator and the necessary control lights complete the display element.

Factory-fitted accessories include an alarm system, a luggage rack, a 35-liter top case, a U-lock, a windshield and a cover.

The Honda PCX 125 is available in the colors Pearl Cool White, Moondust Silver Metallic, Pearl Siena Red, Matt Carbonium Gray Metallic and Pearl Havana Brown. The manufacturer has not yet announced the price for the 2017 Euro4 Honda PCX 125; the current model is in the price list with 2995 euros plus 155 euros for additional costs.
