A super sports model could also follow in the near future. At least that’s what this concept drawing suggests.

New motorcycles from the Chinese manufacturer Motrac (2018)
MT-X500, MG500 and super sports concept
Ever heard of Motrac? So far, the Chinese manufacturer has focused more on the mini-bike segment. For 2018 there is now a new naked bike called MT-X500, the adventure bike MG500 and possibly a new super athlete in the starting blocks.
B.he adventure bike with the model designation MG500, presented by Motrac in 2016, was able to draw attention to itself with a thoroughly successful look. At the moment the model is supposed to be in production. When the market launch is to take place has not yet been announced. What seems to be certain, however, is that the Chinese manufacturer is planning two new models based on the Motrac MG500: a naked bike and a super sports bike.
The naked bike: Motrac MT-X500
Still presented as a concept in 2016, the Motrac MT-X500 has now been presented in an almost series-ready version. Theoretically, the production of the chic naked bike could start. Many of the built-in parts such as the engine come from the Motrac MG500 adventure bike.

Left: the production model of the MT-X500 will look something like this. Right: the concept drawing from 2016.
The 471 cc parallel twin is said to produce 47 hp and is similar in terms of displacement and power to the Honda CB 500. However, the manufacturer has not revealed which engine will ultimately be used. However, it is said to be a drive from the Chinese company Loncin, which is based on the engine of the CB 500. The aggressive appearance of the Motrac MT-X500 is also particularly noticeable. The naked bike also differs from the MG500 in terms of the spring elements and the brakes.
Motrac super sports car so far only as a concept
The manufacturer seems to be staying true to its line. While the adventure bike was presented in 2016 as a nearly finished production model, two years ago only concept drawings of the naked bike could be seen. The same game is repeated this year. The Naked Bike Motrac MT-X500 can be seen today as a nearly series-ready model, for which concept drawings of a supersport model were presented. At first glance, the two models do not really differ technically.

The Motrac super sports car has so far only been available as a concept drawing.
The 471 cm³ parallel twin should also be used in the super sports car. The exhaust and the seat also seem to be used on both models. At first glance, there are differences in the tank and of course the fairing.
It remains to be seen how good the production models from Motrac will ultimately be and whether they can keep up with the competition from larger manufacturers. In any case, the approaches are promising. It is also still unclear whether the new Motrac models will also come to Europe and how much they will cost.
