Problems with the quickshifter
The British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph has to recall 4,793 Speed Triple S and Speed Triple RS models to workshops around the world. Problems with the Quickshifter can occur.

The quickshifter assembly on the affected vehicles can come into contact with the gearshift lever and prevent a gear change. The transmission can then end up in a “neutral” position between two gears, in which case the propulsion breaks off, which in turn can lead to an increased risk of an accident. However, Triumph is not aware of any accidents that can be traced back to this problem.
Not all of them wear a quickshifter
In total, Triumph has to recall 4,793 vehicles from the years of construction 2018 to 2020 to the workshops worldwide, in Germany 704 vehicles are affected by the recall. Not all vehicles that are called back are also equipped with a shift assistant. Triumph puts the number of shift assistants sold worldwide at 2,747 and 456 in Germany.

All owners of affected machines are written to and asked to come to the workshops with their motorcycle. If necessary, a new gearshift lever with a milled recess is installed there so that the gearshift assistant can work again without any problems.
