S.ou weren’t the stars of Intermot, not even at our own stand. Nevertheless, it is worth taking a look at the facelifted Suzukis from the year 2005. Because while the revised GSX-R 1000 shone in Munich in the brightest light and the Bandit 650 with ABS
shone, modifications to tried-and-tested models were a little lost.
With the strengthened SV-1000 models, Suzuki dropped a price bomb, as was only announced at the beginning of November: the uncovered version will cost 1200 less in future,
the half-disguised “S” is even 1400 euros cheaper. New is their permanent light switch with battery-saving switching off of the headlights during the start-up process. About that
the models GSX-R 600, Bandit 1200 and Hayabusa are also available. The GSX 1400, the SV 650 / S and various scooter and cruiser types have also been upgraded to a greater or lesser extent. tsr

SV 650 / S

A great middle class engine, this V2: easy-revving, cultivated and powerful. There was nothing to improve. But not everyone likes the extremely angular design. Will that change with the black aluminum frame or the bare version of the mini lamp mask (6330 euros)? In any case, just like the partially clad S model (6640 euros), it has a four centimeter narrower radiator. It just fits better into the picture.

Intruder C 1500

Fat Trude gets an injection with a regulated catalytic converter and
Automatic cold start. In the cylinder heads of the still 67 hp
V2 rotate new camshafts with sharper control times. The result is 115 instead of 112 Newton meters of torque at 2800 tours.
In the periphery, the tank capacity shrank to just 14 liters,
on the other hand, the curb weight rose by three to 320 kilograms. The
Handlebar is 40 millimeters flatter and 55 millimeters wider. New
Design characterize the muffler, the air filter housing and
the clear-glass headlights. The price: unchanged at 10845 euros.

Burgman 650 EXECUTIVE

Suzuki’s 650cc scooter is the largest, most powerful and most expensive of its kind. Also in 2005 shows the 280 kg heavy and 56 HP strong S-Class below
the scooters, who is (castle) master of the house. Exclusively with ABS as an »Executive« version. An electrically adjustable window and electronic immobilizer have recently been added. SV 1000 / S

The two 1000 models could not quite build on the success of the SV 650. The big V2 inspires with a high level of smoothness and great performance. Now drastic price reductions and even more power are to be addressed: The naked SV 1000 now costs 8,190 euros, a whopping 1200 euros less than before. Can be seen
the undisguised 2005 model on the small lampshade and the black aluminum frame. The partially disguised S also has that, which was even 1400 euros cheaper and is now available for 8390 euros (excluding additional costs).
With 124 hp at 9000 tours, four hp more are available than before. New camshafts with sharper control times and larger valve lift enable the power boost. The increased compression aims in the same direction, increasing from 11.3 to 11.6 to one. In addition, the throttle valves grew? two per intake tract ?? by two millimeters to 54 millimeters in diameter.

Intruder C 800

In the midrange cruiser Intruder C 800, an injection system including double throttle valves will ensure modern mixture preparation and electronically controlled warm-up. There is also exhaust gas cleaning with a G-Kat and with 53 horses a good horsepower more
than before. Running boards instead of footrests, clear-glass headlights and an exhaust system are new. Because of the petrol pump integrated inside, the tank only holds 15.5 instead of 17 liters of fuel. As usual, Suzuki calls 7950 euros for the C..
