80s style muscle racer

Yamaha Klein from Dillingen / Saar has trimmed an XJR 1300 for muscle racers. It was actually planned for the Europe-wide Yamaha Yard Built competition, but due to the inconsistent interpretation of the rules (to put it diplomatically) Dominik Klein withdrew his entry for the competition. Of course, that doesn’t change anything about the spectacular XJR 1300.

D.he list of components used for the conversion reads a bit like a who’s who of the accessories, conversion and tuning industry. Here is an incomplete excerpt:

  •     SC Project titanium exhaust system, one-off production
  •     Single-sided swing arm with self-made shock absorber based on Ohlins, without cutting and welding work on the frame!
