Classic single in a scrambler outfit

With the Ace of Spades 500, SWM is adding a model to its range that relies on the tried and tested 500 single-cylinder and looks like a scrambler.

A.ls 125cc, the Ace of Spades was already in the current model range. Now the Italians are pushing a 500 version of the classically styled single cylinder. However, only in limited numbers and for a limited period of time, because the Ace of Spades 500 is only homologated according to Euro 4 and therefore no longer eligible for approval from the turn of the year with the start of Euro 5.

The 445 cm³ air-cooled single cylinder in the Ace of Spades is mostly black, hangs in a tubular steel frame, relies on injection and has 30 hp. It is shifted by a six-speed gearbox, the single is brought to life by an electric starter. At the front, the ready-to-drive 169-kilogram machine sits on a USD 47 fork, while stereo struts work at the rear. A 320 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear in combination with ABS do deceleration work.

Aluminum spoked wheels and raised mufflers

The 17-inch aluminum spoked wheels are fitted with coarse-tread tires measuring 120/70 at the front and 150/60 at the rear. The short fenders at the front and rear as well as the raised stainless steel rear silencers on both sides contribute to the typical scrambler look. The tank holds 17.5 liters.

Other features include a two-tone bench seat (seat height: 813 mm), LED headlights at the front and LED lights at the rear, as well as a digital round instrument in the cockpit.

The SWM Ace of Spades 500 is now available for prices starting at 5,499 euros plus additional costs.
