Three-cylinder with 130 hp

The 765 cm³ in-line three-cylinder should be derived directly from the Moto2 racing engine. The titanium inlet valves, pistons and piston pins, the new camshaft profiles, the connecting rods, the crankshaft and the cylinder liners were designed with know-how from the racing engine. In addition, the compression was increased to 12.9: 1 and the speed limit was increased by 600 tours to 13,250 rpm. The triple brings it to 130 hp at 12,250 / min and a maximum torque of 80 Nm, which should be available at 9,750 / min. For the racing engine, more than 140 hp are specified. A titanium rear silencer from Arrow optimizes the exhaust flow. The transmission received new pairs of gears and a longer first gear. Triumph promises clearly noticeable extra power across the entire speed range compared to the Street Triple.

High quality equipment

Triumph has also stepped up the equipment for the special model. The Stylema radial brake calipers and the radial master brake cylinder MCS come from Brembo. Ohlins contributes a 43 mm NIX30 front fork with 120 mm travel and a TTX36 shock absorber with 133 mm travel.
