” Why ? More black – And why only black?!? We can turn the night into something more carried away, can’t we! “. The Bobber Black is right. To give a certain cachet to a motorcycle, to finery, to covetousness, the black shade suits well, brings its share of elegance or mystery, even a sought-after taciturn side, but… But we can distinguish ourselves by bringing more than a dark color laid from one end of the wheels to the other. The tone is set, and this oh so imperious Triumph crosses the night with its desires. How? ‘Or’ What ?
By pushing whatever is in front. The standard Bobber already has quite a presence, with its amputated physique in the back, its imitation hardtail frame and its saddle crunched with an ax. This Black edition is identified by several points. Let’s start with the most obvious and already mentioned: it is black everywhere, but in two colors: shiny or mat. The parts that go under the paint shower are numerous: complete exhaust lines, wheel hubs, tank, headlight strapping, housings, levers, handlebars, saddle support and foot controls.
Now, let’s turn our attention to where the Bobber Black goes further, appropriates the road: its front end is much beefier. Since the standard version, the fork goes from 41 to 47 mm. The front wheel curls up 19 to 16 inches and it gains a second 310mm brake disc. More muscular, more full, the stern of the bike undeniably gains in aggressiveness but also in efficiency. This front axle will allow a more virile conduct, more in adequacy with the dark soul of the men of the shadows who will desire it. The scale appreciates less, a dozen additional kilos pushing its needle above the 237 units.
The Bobber Black takes the opportunity to recover a new headlight with the marked light signature. Behind all the elements suitable to provide all kinds of pleasure for a ride. This single-seater suspended saddle, the positioning of which is adjustable; its twin-cylinder 1200 cc High Torque engine, more generous in torque than on the Bonneville; its copious on-board electronics, playing on safety with ABS, electronic accelerator, Rain and Road driving modes, disconnectable traction control and cruise control.
Put down the seat, turn the key, wake up the twin and open generously. There are almost 11 mkg of torque waiting at 4000 rpm and a stable of 77 horses through the connecting rods. Everyone is watching you wherever you go?!?! Ain’t that what you wanted……..
