Triumph rhymes with beautiful memories from the seventies. Its Thunderbird Sport, retro in form – modern in substance, has something to move the hearts of nostalgic people charmed by little English girls; but also lovers of roadsters with a sporty-retro design.
Flattering appearance, elegant lines, quality finish and alluring details (such as its megaphone-type exhaust or the screwed gas cap), the T-bird takes care of its image.. And its benefits, because the Britonne does not count only on its finery to seduce. Its 3 cylinders benefit from an enthusiastic behavior and a good distribution of its torque. More powerful by 13 horses than the standard T-bird, it also benefits from a 6-speed gearbox instead of 5. Its lively engine is reinforced in its flights by a short reduction. Better equipped in terms of engine and transmission, the Sport also benefits from an extended swing arm, a 17-inch front wheel, 2 front brake discs instead of one, and fully damping. adjustable (rebound, compression, preload) front and rear. All this gratifies the Thunderbird S with pleasant performance. Conversely, the machine is a bit tricky to handle. Not really light and with a heavy steering, the bike is not a ballerina. On the road, you can count on its powerful braking and healthy behavior … as long as the asphalt is generous. See by this that the conduct deteriorates at the same time as the quality of the tarmac. Comfort is also lost, as a result of the firmness of the rear damping, a too thin saddle and anecdotal protection on the motorway..
