Vanucci has added some new textile and leather clothing items to its range that can be combined with an integrated, electronically controlled airbag system.

The leather jacket VSJ-m1, the one-piece leather suit VSM-m1 and the textile jacket VAJ-m2 are new to the Vanucci collection. Used for all three Vanucci the Tech-Air system from Alpinestars. According to the manufacturer, jackets such as station wagons are cut in such a way that they give the respective airbag exactly the deployment opportunity that it needs to protect the driver through adapted stretch zones. The various airbags not only protect the driver’s back, but also large parts of the upper body, such as the collarbones and chest. In addition, there is the usual safety equipment with material doubling, safety seams and protectors on shoulders and elbows. The leather suit also includes the areas around the hips and knees.

VSJ-m1 leather jacket costs 399.99 euros

The VSJ-m1 leather jacket is compatible with the Alpinestars Tech-Air Race-e airbag vest, but is unfortunately only available in men’s sizes. It is made from cowhide and has stretch inserts over the elbows, armholes and shoulders. It is partially perforated in the front area and on the back, at the bottom it closes with a short and an all-round connection zipper. Protectors on the shoulders and elbows are included, a back protector can be retrofitted.

Leather one-piece VSM-m1 for 799 euros

The one-piece leather suit is compatible with the Alpinestars Tech Air Race-e airbag system vest. Unfortunately, it is only available in men’s sizes. It is made of approx. 1.2 – 1.4 mm thick cowhide and has elastic material on the collar, in the side of the chest, on the inside of the arms, on the groin, in the back of the knees and on the calves. On the shoulders, under the armhole as well as above the seat and knees, leather stretch provides more freedom of movement.

VAJ-m2 textile jacket for 499.99 euros

The VAJ-m2 textile jacket is compatible with the Alpinestars Tech Air Street-e airbag vest. The longer cut touring jacket comes with a laminated Sympatex climate membrane, large pockets and arm, waist and waistband adjustment.
