The bobber spirit had not yet really entered the Victory clan. Within the range of cruisers, a more equivocal, more tempered, more vintage machine was needed. So here’s the High Ball, another variation of Vegas. A custom with a retro spirit, light post-war scents and a stripped-down style, but without being as much “ bobberized ” as a Henchman-type Saxon. This 1700 High Ball oscillates between a Sportster 48 and an ex-Cross Bones. The driver will also have as much style on the Victory as on the Harley thanks, among other things, to the upward-facing Ape Hanger handlebars. With hands slapping level and feet well forward, the ride is both expressive and striking. However, you can get tired of the wind tickling your armpits … Everything is planned: a small set of tools, a few turns of the screw, and here is your handlebars in the low low riding position..

On the High-Ball, black is the order of the day, from the end of the mirrors to the tip of the double exhaust! Handlebars, headlight casing, triple trees, frame, mudguards, cylinder head … Suddenly, the white sidewalls of the tires jump out at you. Mounted on 16-inch spoke rims, the Victory immerses you in vintage and solitary spirit. Without a saddle or passenger footrest, the machine expresses bluntly that it will not want to share you with anyone.
Powered by the hearty 1731 cc ‘Freedom’ V-twin, you won’t be disappointed with the price / performance / performance ratio. For 5,000 euros less than a more famous Harley, Victory offers you ten more horses, a much more efficient part-cycle, and a remarkable build quality. The twin 106 is certainly more powerful than a Twin Cam but it turns out to be a little too linear, less rocky, less scraper, less rican, more Yankee.
