Wilbers fork with adjustable progression
Wilbers fork with variable progression
“Fully adjustable” à la Benny
In cooperation with ZF, Wilbers Products GmbH has developed a fork in which a screw mechanism regulates the oil / air ratio. Adjustments to the progression are thus possible without having to refill or remove fork oil.

Adjust spring base, spring preload, compression and rebound damping? This has long been state of the art for high-end forks.
However, if you want to change the progression, i.e. the amount by which the fork becomes harder during compression, you have to experiment with the level of the fork oil. And that means: unscrew the fork, add more oil for more progression, remove oil for less progression, screw the fork on, do a test lap. And repeat this process until the desired result is achieved.
the Wilbers Products GmbH from Nordhorn has invented and developed a more elegant solution to this problem: A screw on the expansion tank moves a piston that changes the oil level in the fork by up to 10 mm. This means that less time is spent on screwdriving and there is more time to drive, test and improve lap times.
However, everyone still has to work out the ideal settings for themselves.
