Troy Corser package for Brno
Saturday July 10, 2010 – BMW official rider Troy Corser will not participate in the Brno World Superbike round this weekend (Czech Republic).
Injured yesterday during the free practice session, the 38-year-old Australian decided not to take the start, in agreement with the team doctor, Vincenzo Tota, and the team managers. Corser suffers from multiple bruises, according to initial medical reports.
"Unfortunately I won’t be able to run this weekend", regrets Troy: "I feel rather exhausted and my chest hurts. The shock was very violent and I am glad that I was not injured more seriously. . I remember the accident quite well: I lost the rear end and had a high side. I would have loved to run in Brno, but we all agree that I need a few days of rest to be in good shape at Silverstone "(in three weeks, Editor’s note).
