Based on the R 1250 GS

To celebrate the company’s 35th anniversary, Wunderlich has put two new custom bikes based on the BMW R 1250 GS on wheels: the 35-GS editions models # 1 and # 2.

BMW specialist W.At the beginning of July, underlich presented two new custom bikes in an online presentation. The two new editions 35-GS model # 1 and # 2 were created to celebrate the 35th company anniversary of the BMW specialist. Actually, the two custom bikes should have made their first public appearance at the BMW Days in Garmisch. Since the big BMW event had to be canceled due to the Corona crisis, Wunderlich decided to take the opportunity and hold an online presentation on the Wunderlich Facebook channel. In addition to the presentation of the two custom bikes, Wunderlich also provided a glimpse behind the scenes of the company during the event. Incidentally, the show was moderated by Jens Kuck.

Focus on new GS editions

At the live event, the focus was undoubtedly on the two Edition 35-GS models # 1 and # 2 custom bikes. The two Wunderlich bikes are based on the BMW R 1250 GS. Unfortunately, Wunderlich does not provide a lot of information about the new GS editions. After all, the BMW specialist posted some photos and a video of the two bikes on the web after the event. Judging by the pictures, Wunderlich is upgrading the two GS editions with numerous safety accessories, a new paint job, a new seat including a luggage rack and numerous logos and emblems. The paintwork is mostly black. Some dark blue and white color elements can also be seen. In addition, the number 35, which would like to focus on the Wunderlich company anniversary, was placed in some places on the two motorcycles.

Wunderlich obviously also used the presentation of the two exhibition motorcycles to create a new accessory package called "Lonely Rider" to introduce something in more detail. The package consists of a driver’s seat that is even more suitable for long journeys and a luggage rack / mount that is available for the BMW R 1250 GS models and the water-cooled BMW R 1200 GS LC and R models from 2013 onwards. The new accessory package is available from 486.42 euros. It is quite possible that other accessories that were installed on the two custom bikes will also be presented and offered individually in the course of the year. As part of the so-called Edition 35 this year, Wunderlich is repeatedly introducing new accessories that were created or will be created to celebrate the anniversary. Recently, for example, a new lamp mask for the BMW R nineT was named "Daytona Edition 35" presents.

Conclusion

Wunderlich accessories are very popular among BMW drivers. The custom bikes from Wunderlich have always been very successful. It’s just a shame that Wunderlich doesn’t describe the two motorcycles and the accessories used in more detail.
